COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Whether gearing up for college or navigating the workforce, encountering new people and facing new challenges are integral parts of everyone’s future. Students and adults alike must rely on both verbal and non-verbal skills to interact and build personal connections in all life encounters.

TNT’s Communication Skills programs combine personal presentation and speaking skills with fun and interactive activities, while developing personal awareness and increasing participants’ confidence.

We use a unique combination of tools in the sessions—combining improv, history, movie stars, and science (!)—to help even the shyest individuals in achieving successful interactions, whether at the podium or in one-on-one situations.

Examples of programs in place:

• • Real World, Real Words™ focuses on making a consistently positive first impressions using strong verbal and non-verbal skills.

• • Speech Through Speech™ teaches presentation and word skills through the study of famous historical speeches and great orators from ancient times through the modern day.

All sessions help participants identify and practice key communication nuances as they build confidence that impacts their daily lives.
